The ski slopes around our family hotel challenged the first Berghof-daugher so, that she became the first Olympic ski champion after World War II. Ossi Reichert was Rosl Reichert's daughter, founder of the Allgäuer Berghof, your family hotel in the Allgäu. She was born in 1925 and she already made the first swings on skies when she was only 3 years old. In the following years she refined her swing on the slopes around our family hotel in the Allgäu. In 1952 she won the silver medal in the Olympic slalom. At the Olympic Games in 1956 in Cortina she won gold in the giant slalom. We have dedicated to „Ossis OlympiaStüble" in our Allgäuer Berghof to her. You can admire her numerous trophis and pictures here.
For over 20 years our mascot Froschi makes the guests of our family in the Allgäu happy. Our visitors doesn't only see Froschi on the drinking cups for the kids or on the carpet. Meanwhile we have even dedicated a whole museum to our Froschi. In Germany's largest frog museum you find over 3000 pieces. And this number is still increasing: many kids bring us a frog. With a name tag of the generous giver, we give them a new home in our Froschi-Musem in our family hotel in the Allgäu.
