In 2014, the vaulted cellar in our family hotel in the Allgäu, dating from 1949, was newly developed and expanded for our guests. The natural stone cellar, built by Berghof founder Rosl Reichert, was at that time hand-bricked and served for a long time to store potatoes and wine. Today, the 4.80 m high vault captivates with its cosy, stylish ambience in the heart of the Allgäuer Berghof and offers an extraordinary space for special occasions during your family holidays in the Allgäu.
Recently, the Gewölbe menu has become one of our trainee projects at the Allgäuer Berghof. From menu planning and wine selection to the preparation of the dishes and attentive service, the responsibility lies in the hands of our young up-and-coming talents. In the process, the budding chefs and hotel specialists gain valuable experience for their professional future.
