The very peculiar Gockele-apartment owes its name to the "hen run“ with easy poultry made of bio-wood and feathers, situated between the roof-beams and the kitchen ceiling with glass on both sides. The chicken look down on you from there while you are relaxing on the comfortable couch in the cheerful living room and sometime you will even imagine that you hear them cluck. The valuable wood from the hen run originates from the demolition of a mountain cabin of almost 100 years old, which gave way under the load of a huge amount of snow last winter. You enter the Gockele-apartment through a small gallery with five steps to the cosy living room. The master bedroom with starry sky light under the dormer has 2 small triangular windows which can be opened separately, just like the children’s room, .
