Pixie Snowland

for children between 3 and 4 years old.

In the Pixie Snowland (Schnee Wichtel Land) the smallest of Berghof guests become familiar with the white stuff.  Playing and fun as well as the essentials for using ski equipment (ski boots, helmets, skis) are the theme.  The kids will have their first try at a descent on skis.

The idea at Pixie Snowland is to teach the little ones to have fun in the snow and prepare them for ski lessons.  The children are looked after in a large, well secured private ski  area with many fun play figures.  Pixie Snowland is right next to the hotel and can easily been seen for the terrace.  A trained ski instructor looks after the children daily for 2 hours in the morning.  At the end of the lessons, the children go to eat at Froschi’s locomotable with the ski instructor and then to warm up and rest in the Pixie room.

Froschis Ski Arena

…for children over 4.

In Froschi’s Ski Arena ski lessons for all beginners are offered.  Specially trained ski instructors and the colourfully decorated ski area with a brand new training lift and obstacle course make every day exciting and fun.

Froschi’s Ski Arena is just above Pixie Snowland next to the hotel (ca. 100m) and can also be easily seen from the terrace.

The aim of the children’s ski lessons in Froschi’s Ski Arena is the acquisition of basic ski skills such as proper balance, snow ploughing and stopping.  Beginners are well looked after during the lessons.  At midday the children eat at the hotel and have time to rest and warm up during their meal.

Froschi Lift

The quick learners practice on the approx. 150m long Froschi lift, a larger rope tow, next to Froschi’s Ski Arena and equally well separated from the main run.

Here the basic skills learned in Froschi’s Ski Arena are refined and practiced on a slightly steeper run.  The first gates will be taken and the snow kids will prepare for the big lifts in the main ski area.  Those who manage to successfully ski up and down the Froschi lift a few times will soon be on their way to the family friendly ski area under the supervision of their ski instructor.
